About Academic Clips Professional Clips Photography Resume Contact

Hello, and welcome to my online portfolio.

I am a writer, a freelance copy editor for the Custom Publishing Division of KNS Media Group, a news and entertainment junkie and an animal welfare advocate. I also served as editor-in-chief of Scoop magazine, which is administered to 15,000 of the University of Tennessee's College of Communication and Information's alumni, faculty, staff and students. The new issue is due out next month, including a feature article I wrote on Web-content-publicist Eric Ward. This past fall, I wrote a series of advice columns for high school students on higher education to help them make an informed decision about where to attend college, which ran on the Knoxville News Sentinel's "textme" page. I plan to write another series this fall. I'm currently writing a book on the history of Radio Systems Corp., makers of the PetSafe brand and a company dedicated to improving the lives of pets and their owners.

On this site, you will find articles I've published and ones I've written for school. You can also view my resume and editing samples. If you have any questions about my work, use the contact tab to shoot me an e-mail.

Thanks for stopping by!
