Keeping your bills organized

I am the queen of organization, so much so that
you might call me obsessive. I’m probably the only 2l-year-old
that subscribes to Real Simple magazine and takes notes while watching
the television show Clean Sweep.
But I’m a busy gal, and in order to function,
I stay organized. We’re all busy people. Full-time students
and moms alike, our days are jam-packed with homework assignments,
errands, doctors’ appointments and my personal favorite, keeping
the finances in check.
Yes, paying the bills can be a royal pain, but
unless we want to sabotage our credit, we’ll pay them, and
we’ll pay them on time. Just recently, I was browsing through
a Harriet Carter magazine, and I found two organizers that can help
us make those dreaded deadlines while eliminating the messy piles
and aggravation.
The Deluxe Personal Secretary, pictured here, is
only $14.98 and has 31 slots to stash bills, cards and mail. Its
felt-lined drawer contains four sections and is perfect for housing
stamps, pens and address labels.
The Monthly Organizer, a beautiful cherry-finish
wood cabinet, costs only $19.98 and also has a numbered slot for
each day of the month.
So if you’re sick of getting slapped with
late fees or you’re just an organizational freak like me,
this is the product for you. Both items can be purchased at www.harrietcarter.com.
