I’ve had the lyrics to “Pretty in Pink” stuck in my head for months, and it’s not because I’ve been watching reruns of the ‘80s flick on TBS, or that I recently attended a Psychedelic Furs reunion concert.

The real culprit is Cingular and those commercials they were airing around Valentine’s for the Pink Motorola Razr. According to the ad, it was being offered for a limited time only, but I’ve done a little research, and fortunately, for both Aerosmith and me, the phone in our favorite color is still available.

Both Verizon and Cingular have the Pink Razr in stock, but you have to do a little digging. Visit www.cingularwireless.com, click on “Phones and PDAs” under the “Shop Cingular” tab, and then keep on scrolling until you see pink.

Verizon is a bit trickier. If you click on the “Personal” tab at www.verizonwireless.com, and search “Phones,” you’ll scroll for days but never see pink. Instead, call a Verizon Retailer nearest you - there’s one located at 946 Schetcher Drive by Uno Chicago Grill in Wilkes-Barre Township - to see if they have any in stock. If they don’t have one on hand, they’ll place a request order.

Both Verizon and Cingular are currently offering promotions on the Pink Motorola Razr when you sign up for a two-year contract, but they’re going fast, so don’t wait around.

Step aside Molly Ringwald. It’s time for this generation of girls to feel pretty in pink.
