True tanning made easy

Thanks to my fiancée, I haven’t seen a full television commercial all year. Like most men, he is genetically programmed to change the channel as soon as whatever he’s watching comes to a commercial break.

But we were apart for a few days last month, and the timing couldn’t have been better. If we were together, I probably would’ve missed the Coppertone commercial for its new product — Continuous Spray.

The commercial shows a few moms lounging by the pool spraying both themselves and their kids with a bottle labeled Coppertone Continuous Spray. The moms never move from their lounging position; they just spray, and in mere seconds all moms and kids are fully covered, head to toe, in sun block. I nearly jumped out of my chair in excitement with thoughts of me at the beach — minus white blotches and sticky hands.

Continuous Spray, named one of the Best New Products of 2005 by Business Week, goes on clear and sprays at every angle, even upside down. It comes in four of Coppertone’s already popular forms: General Protection SPF 15 & 30, Sport SPF 15 & 30, Kids SPF 50 and Dry Oil SPF 10. I got my bottle at Wal-Mart for only $6.88, but this product can be found in almost any health and beauty aisle near you.

Forget big sunglasses, this sunscreen is THE must have accessory for Summer 2006.
